New to Droid Incredible - very confused

I just got the Droid Incredible. First time smart phone. Is there a way to change the info on text messages received to see contact name versus the number? And same with phone calls received? (I see the 123-234-1234 - not helpful.) All contacts, etc were imported in from old phone.

Also, is there a reminder notification for text messages after the original receipt? (For example, a beep every 2 minutes?)

Have you set up your contacts? It should link info and show names once you have it on your phone.

You can edit settings for texts. Go to messages, then click menu. Click settings and modify your notifications. One of them lets you receive multiple notifications, I think.
