New to DroidPro-If i type 'l' while texting it goes to the calendar-help

Can't type certain letters while texting which is driving me nuts! 'l' takes me to the calendar page, other letters take me to other apps. how do i disable this? thanks!

Home>menu>settings>applications>quick launch

You can manage the shortcuts from there although they shouldn't be active while texting.
