New to S4

Hey Guys,

I have my Verizon s4 for 3 days and am totally loving it. The one thing that drives me crazy and I am not sure if it is a setting thing or what. When the home screen is off and a new text pops up, I seem to have an issue opening it up the first try. When I touch the screen it will highlight the background if I try to hold and swipe the notification over, the whole screen moves. Any thing that I am obviously doing wrong?

Yeah it sounds like you are swiping over to the other Lockscreen Widget screen. When the text message comes in if you just press on the message it should move up and then you can hold the lock and swipe to open the screen to the text messaging app. If that makes sense.
