New to the Droid Platform

Hey all
after much ado, i finally got the thunderbolt (along with my wife)
we both upgraded from the Samsung rogue. we got them a week before the droid 1 released. VW guy said our phones were smart and had apps and all. BS. my phone crapped out (touch screen died on me) and i mentioend that a droid would be a nice upgrade...after MUCH debate and back and forth, wife and i got the TB to replace the crappy rogues.

And we are happy. still learning it though. I'm more tech inclined, so i'm planning on rooting my phone tonight. IDK if she will or not.

But there's been a ton of forum posts i've tried to read about everything, and wow. what can i say.

Hopefully, heres to long droid use!

Welcome! That's how I learned, just kept reading different threads. Anything that sounded like it might apply tome.now or in the future I read it.

Now I'm doing the same thing with the Thunderbolt, It's a bit different from the Droid. I'm sure you both will like your phones, rooted or stock these phones are so much faster that what you had.
