Whassup fellow Droid users and abusers! I'm running an unrooted DX and I'm new to the Droid family. Do I really need to root this thing to get rid of all Big Red's bloatware?? I hate forced apps so maybe it is for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to DroidForums!! Yes, rooting is the only way to remove or freeze the "bloatware" preinstalled on the devices. If you want to go that route, I'd be more than happy to help you with it!
