New to the site!!

And still fairly new to my Droid Incredible. Still going through app searches finding what's the best out there to tailor the phone to my needs, as well as determine what my needs are as I go! It seems to change daily, with all the things this phone can do!

I've got to study up on Linux/Android before I even think of rooting the phone, and I'm really unsure about rooting it. I would really like to remove some of the pre-installed stuff, but worry about hosing my handset. I'd hate to brick this awesome little thing.

welcome to the forum! totally understand. no one wants to brick their phone. but if u read up on it enough and understand how it works and how to recover if anything goes wrong, u should be ok. the community is always here to assist u

The Incredible is a quick little beast...my advice is to enjoy it for awhile and when the time is right, you'll probably root it. And if not, you still have an awesome phone!
