New to the site

Hi everyone,
As you can tell I am new to this site. I have the new motorola droid and having some issues with my phone. I came in to see if i could get some in-site on what to do. My new droid is an awsome phone and with any phone I know that all phone has their quirks about them but this is very annoying.
(The problem I am having is that when I'm talking on my phone I can hear the other person speaking but they cannot hear me. The mute button is not on nothing has been touched it even happens on speaker phone laying on a flat surface nobody touching the phone.)
I'm not sure what is causing this problem I have taken it back to Verizon and they told me several things to do and I have done them and it still happens. other than talking on my phone its a great phone that seems to be the only problem I have with it so far. Any advice would be great. I have thought about taking it back and having them swap it out for another droid but they keep insisting that droids dont have problems. lol.

Welcome to the site, rdy2pnce. Glad to have you on board here at DF. It sucks that your having an issue with your droid. If depending on how long you've had your droid, if only a matter of days, i would just try to wipe it and start fresh, it could just be a glitch in one of the programs that didn't install correctly. Seeing as if you get a new one, it wouldn't have any programs on it either, i would try that before you take it back to the store again. If that doesn't work, i would then just take it to the store, and insist that your is still not working, and if they don't believe you, you can show them.
