Hello,
I recently activated (today) a google voice (gV) account at which time I chose the VM only option (not the google # yet).
At that time it issued me a VM access #.
Is that my voice mail access # only access # or does it do anything esle?
When I set up I added my verizon # to the gv account at which time it called my verizon # and instructed me to enter in a 2 digit # that it assigned.
After doing that it asked me for my VM pin #.
Now I am wondering if I will still received voicemail's to my Verizon VM as well as to this google voice mail (gVM), or is the gVM going to be the only option to get my messages?
I also am starting to think about getting a google voice # (gV#) but all the #'s appear to be out of my area...
Also I was informed that there was a way to set up the gV# and get free calls, without it using my verizon minutes?
I do have family and friends, but it was thought that there might be 2 #'s in question incoming and outgoing #?
How can I use the gV# for free, other than international calls that is?
Thanks
