Hi everyone, I just gave up my blackberry for a droid. So far I am not liking it. I am not computer savvy so I am having a hard time understanding how to use it, especially sending all my email accounts to gmail. I got the droid simply because I can access my online school from it. I am hoping to learn a lot from this forum so I can actually enjoy this phone. Thanks.

hey there and welcome to the forum. Glad to see you here and hope you enjoy your stay with us. You don't HAVE to send all your email to your gmail account, alot of people do this for just simplicity. You can add POP3 and IMAP accounts for most of the other mailing systems out there. Which will allow you to get them without gmail. Yahoo is the only one giving problems as of right now i believe. There are many articles on how to get them working. They are scattered all over, if you want to do it that way, i would just suggest searching the forum for whatever mailing system you use.
