newb contacts question/Contacts

Ok, either i am drunk or I don't get this.

I backed up my contacts on my BB to Google....when i got my Droid 2 i set it to sync with contacts...but if I make a change how do I get it to sync and how do i set which one wins? Handhled overwrites and vise versa?


Sorry for the newbie question but I am trying to make some changes to my contacts on both google and on the device and they are not syncing or showing the changes. I must be missing a step.
