newbie out of my league

My first impression of this forum is that this is not the place for me. I have what I think is a simple question..How can i clear the Google Search History. I don't know what Root, Liberty, and many other terms that appear frequently mean. I do know that I have updated my droid to ver. 2.3, but i'm not sure why.

Can someone point me to an answer as to how to clear Search History?

Welcome to the forum. From the phone, open the browser and hit the menu button. Then more, then settings. Scroll down and you should see the options. You can also do it from a pc. I use the google chrome browser and go to my history by hitting the wrench(settings) at the top right. You should be able to do this from any browser by going to google.com/accounts.
