OK... I'm coming from a blackberry 8330... durable, but primitive....and I really like to tether with it (Verizon) when I must. I use "Tetherberry" to tether rather than Verizon's monthly fee type of tethering. I'm not a heavy tether-er, so I don't abuse it.
So, I have some ultra-basic questions about the Android platform and the incredible.
1. Can it tether "off the books" like I can with my blackberry? Does it require an aftermarket app?
2. Do android phones (or the incredible in particular) allow access to google docs? If so, does it allow editing? and If so, does this require an aftermarket app?
3. Battery life is excellent on my blackberry. I understand that the Incredible might go 15 hours or so. To what extent do the extended batteries help?
thanks!
