Newbie?

Hello, I am trying out the new Droid X. I am coming from Iphone 3g and 3 macs in the house. I finally got my contacts over to Droid (a little difficult I may say). The BIG problem is that everything is alphabetical but by FIRST name. I really want it the other way around! Surely there has got to be a way to do this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

:welcome: to the forum jetson! You're in luck! Gmail has just released an update to google.com/contacts. You are now able to sort by last name. Please see this thread http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-general-discussions/68892-changes-gmail.html.
