Newby Question

Hi! I am new to Droids. I have had mine for a week and am loving it. I have one question that I can't find the answer to in the manual.

I have added a short mp3 clip onto my SD Card. Is there a way to have it become my default ringtone? When I try to change my default, it still only gives me the limited selection that came on the phone and seemingly no way to move to the card.

Is there anywhere that would be a good place for me to begin reading and become knowledgeable about Droids, other than here?
