Liberty rom is like 2.3 firmware its good more options than a regular firmware I recommend it

the next official firmware should be gingerbread and the rumor is sometime after friday.

The latest liberty rom out is 2.0.1 and its gingerbread pretty much just not stock gongerbread but since its a rom it gives more options like editing your phone.

True but 2.0.1 is still froyo and the next update will be gingerbread. So if anything it would be better to flash the leaked gb and flash a rom on that.

No 2.0.1 is still froyo. They do have a gingerbread release though. It's liberty gingerbread 0.5 which is a public beta.
