If for nothing else Roms make it super easy to update your device. I have pretty much ran stock Android on my Nexus 10 since I purchased it, but every time an update has come out I have just sat back until a developer came out with a flashable rom. Android 4.4.3 was no different for me. It is just easier to flash roms when your device is rooted and you are using a custom recovery. Developer "hanspampel" is the guy who put together the 4.4.2 build that I have been running ever since that version of Android came out, and today he released his build of 4.4.3 which I quickly flashed to my Nexus 10. In this build we have all of Google's fixes and added features, plus the rom comes pre-rooted, with busybox installed. It is zipaligned with init.d support. There are both Odexed and Deodexed versions available for download. Translucent Nav and Status bars are included.
