Nexus 5X Specs Leaked by Amazon & Retail Packaging for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P Also Leaked

We have a couple of big Nexus leaks for you folks today. One of them is from late yesterday that we didn't quite get to before signing off. The other is a pretty hefty leak straight from Amazon India.

We'll lead off with yesterday's late news. The retail packaging for both the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P were leaked. That is what you see in the images included with this post (although one of them appears to be the final retail design of the Nexus 6P. What's particularly interesting is that these supposedly leaked box images actually confirm the previously rumored X and P name add ons for these devices.

The second Nexus leak is simply a reconfirmation of the specs for the Nexus 5X. We have heard multiple rumors about the internals for this device for quite some time. The newly leaked intel matches up with that exactly. What makes this leak more impactful than the previous leaks is the source. This one comes from Amazon India, which adds at least a bit more credibility to it. Here are the details,

• 5.2-inch 1080p display
• 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit chipset
• 2GB of RAM and a minimum of 16GB of storage
• 12.3MP rear camera, 5MP front camera
• WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS w/ GLONASS, microUSB Type-C
• Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, eCompass
• 2,700mAh battery w/ Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0
• Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Im torn....I am liking the 5x but the specs. I am going to have to see some real world reviews before I pull the trigger.

I am just not liking to look of the 6P but those 5X specs... I probably won't get these and get the new Moto phone. The packaging looks awesome for both phones, though.

Yeah, at this point either go moto x pure or Nexus 6 Deal: Nexus 6 is Back on eBay for $299 | Droid Life

Then again at 399 (Moto X Pure Edition) the moto x pure is a much better choice than the Nexus 6.

This is unfortunate for those wanting a smaller phone.

Wow I guess Google gave people what they asked for last year when they asked for a smaller cheaper option.
