If you buy in the store you pay on purchase price, online I believe is full retail.

Just wondering... I've never purchased a phone anywhere except a verizon store.. How does the process go for using your phone upgrade at a store other than verizon?

Let me clearify. I work at costco not the phone part but...... An upgrade is just the same as anywhere else. They cannot do eairly upgrades only your normal upgrades, I asked before I left. The $289 is the price for the phone with your 2 year contract any taxs will be added on (im oregon no tax). On line I have no comment to it. I just havent looked it up.

Accesories that are included are a leather case, car charger, and something else I cant remember. Costco honestly is the best place to buy a phone plus you get a 90 day return policy! not 14 days.

jleeusa im in la jolla where you getting your nexus?also have you gotten phones at costco?

Probably Verizon store. I went in tonight, small talked and popped the question. Rep told me Friday and that he would call me tomorrow and let me know if will be available for sure. He confirmed that they had them. I didn't post this in the marathon thread, lost of ups and down over there. This has been taxing.

I originally got the Bionic at costco. Good price and accessories. Ultimately I wanted the Nexus so I returned on day 13. FYI costco does have 90 day policy but its EXCHANGE only, no refunds. Also I got bionic on release day and costco didn't get them til that morning, after opening. I have no idea if they have received them already or not.

Hopefully Friday is the day.

I bought my bionic at costco and I am confused about the 90 day exchange / return policy.

If you go into the costco store and return your phone before the 90 days is up, what happens to your contract upgrade start date with verizon?

Does it get back dated, are you now eligible for upgrade starting from the day you returned the phone? Maybe I am missing how it works...

Also, whats the changes of going into the store to take advantage of the program and getting a different phone back (ex. Return Bionic, Get Razr) ?

Thanks

He said 90 days to "exchange" the phone, not return it completely. Return is probably 14 days I'm assuming.

since 90percent of folks have no idea what the policy is let me make it crystal clear.

costco has a 90 day return policy on electronics. that covers phones.
however, that is the physical product.
You have the length of the carriers terms on returns of contracts (i.e. upgrades/newactivations)

Verizon has a 14 day policy.

so between day 15-90 you by all means can RETURN your phone to receive back the cost you paid in store
for your device, however, your contract is ongoing save an early termination, and evidently upgrade is lost.

Costco's exchange policy for a different model than originally purchased is TECHNICALLY the same length
of time that represents the carriers return policy (i.e. 14 days with verizon and 30days with at&t). Some
costco employee abide by this rule some overlook it, or are even, sadly, confused by it.

You have 90 days exchange for the same device.

hopefully that clears that up for all you abusers :p

nexus is 289.99 and comes with two cases (basic leather pouches horizontal and veritical)
universal car charger, and screen overlays.

How does Costco handle the additional "Loyalty Discounts" that VZW offers to customers? I will be getting an additional $100 off because my NE2 was up back in July of 2010.
