How can I get the nexus one live wallpaper on the droid. can someone please help???

It's actually in the market as "nexus mod" for 99cents. Very nice wallpaper, several color combo to choose from or you can create your own. Enjoy!

root, then you can do what ever you want.

I think you dl the free version which fc like there is no tomorrow. I did that initially then I dl the paid version and all is well.

The paid version is awesome!

Just be careful when running it on the Moto Droid. If you want to change the color settings don't do it by going to configure in the menu. Just pick the Nexus Wallpaper again and start from the beginning and you won't have any problems. If you try to change it by going into "configure", you will get a FC. It's a known issue.

That being said, it's worth the minor inconvenience.
