Nexus Prime vs HTC Vigor?

I didn't see one of these threads, so I decided to start one! I have an upgrade available and I just got a great paying job, so I want to pick the best smart phone when it finally gets released. But what do you think is the better of these two titans and why?

Where do you live? ;-)

I'm sick of waiting for the galaxy nexus so if it doesn't get announced before end of October I will most likely go with the iPhone 4S...

Apple should have made the screen bigger but the performance tests show the 4s to be a beast to bad the ios is locked down all that power means nothing to hackers that really utilize it.

Im leaning more toward HTC. I like the way it looks and love the way HTC phones are built. 4.3" screen is way big enough for pretty much everything. Having a bigger screen like samsungs 4.65" is like having a small tablet in your pocket. Do not like ICS at all. It all comes down to preference.

Ok um that article sucked!! The thunderbolt it actually one of the reasons I want the vigor...the thunderbolt is way better then the bionic I have now and wish I didn't sell it. That being said the vigor better have good battery life, that is the only thing that sucked on the thunderbolt

The Galaxy nexus sounds great because its a Google phone so it will be getting the updates first. But also galaxy phones have the best screens in the business.

Well idk go with the nexus, i love my nexus I mean it's amazing, i have the latest updates and the least bugs plus its vanilla has no extra stuff like sense or touchwiz

They pretty much have the same specs and the companies are both very well known in the business. That means for me (company bias, and small nit picky things out of the way)
Vigor has beats audio going for it.
The Nexus obviously has the fact that it has ICS and it's a pure Google device going for it.
I think the prime wins.

Those are just the main things, but there are a lot more things. Samsung makes better screens. HTC had bad battery life, but has Sense which some people love. But I think it really boils down to Vanilla ICS vs. Beats, and it's vanilla by far for me. I would be happy with either phone though! :-P

Sense is a very nice UI, arguably the best of all manufacturer UIs. However, that is part of the reason why HTC devices have bad battery life. Those interfaces lie on top of the vanilla system, like an app that runs 24/7. The nexus won't have that = win with battery life right out of the box. No matter what HTC does to increase the battery life, nexus will win.

I should also mention I will be rooting and putting custom ROMs on whatever I picked once they're posted and tested. I got fantastic practice with my OG Droid.
