No 3G/4G during a phone call.

I believe Verizon's implementation of cdma does not allow data to work while on a voice call. Wifi will work, however, and you can be on a call and browse over wifi. At some point, you may be able to use 4g while on a call, but I don't think that has been turned on yet by Verizon.

Data will work if you're in a 4G LTE area, but not if you're on 3G. Has worked with Verizon since they implemented 4G LTE.

I'm in a 4G area(san diego). I started having this issue after updating to the new software. I used to tether and be on a voice call at the same time!....

yeah the same thing happens to me. I have full service and as soon as i hit the call button, all my service and 3G is lost.

As Conqsoft stated, simultaneous voice and data does not work under 3g, but should with 4g.
