no alerts for texts

On my Moto Droid :motdroidhoriz: I'm not getting alerted when new texts come in. I use stock messaging. I've checked and my notifications are set as follows: vibrate on, led lite, ringtone on, and message bar notification on. I've also done a reset. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

try an app called Easy Reminder

I was having a problem with that as well until I switched to Handcent, no problems since then... I had the same problem with e-mail until I switched to K9 as well
