No calls because of snow? ???

We just got 5 inches of snow and now I can't make or receive calls. I ca text and browse the web, just no calls. Weird. Anyone else experience this anomaly?

My guess is that this is something entirely unrelated to the snow. My husband had an issue with calls a few days after he got his phone (but could still use the web/text), he had to get it swapped out.

4" where I'm at in Nashville (to the west) and no problems. Got a call at 7am from our announcement service about closing. Made several calls since then.

We had a foot of snow a couple weekends back, and no problems here!

Unless the snow fouled a tower I doubt it is the cause. The snow may interrupt my DirecTv for a few minutes, especially the HD channels, but my XM home or car are not impacted by weather.
