No Camera image - have camera screen

Good day all.... when I go to Camera/ Camcorder I get no image..... have Camera Screen icons but no image...... changed resolution etc... pulled battery for less than a minute...Kill apps using Task manager ( which they just seem to come back).... any ideas? Thanks!

Are you running a stock rom? I had this happen on Sapphire. It is common on the 2.2 update.

I assume I am running Stock rom... have had, and have done , no modifications to phone.....not familiar with Sapphire... Is it a memory issue? Thanks
