No ICON on desktop after downloading an App

When I press the ICON, of the circle within a square on the lower right hand side of the desktop, that supposedly displays the Apps I have available, NOT ALL apps are shown. In fact, the last two downloaded apps, "QR Droid" and "QR Reader" do not show even though if I press the menu button and select "Manage Apps" they are in the list. But, I can not start them from this list. The only way to start either one of them is to do a "Search" on "Market" and when the screen comes up with the "Open" or "Uninstall" options, select "Open" and it will run.

Why dont the ICONS appear on the desktop???

You should be able to change the settings up at the top. I don't have Blur anymore so I'm not sure. But I think you can change what apps are displayed. ie. Latest installed, most used, recently used and all!
