No LauncherPro Notifications on Dock for Messages

On my dock, I don't get a little red bubble notification for texts I get, for example a red 2 if I have 2 text messages. How can I make it so that I can get a little notification on the dock icon?

Do you have launcherpro plus? Menu>preferences>dock settings then select the notifications you want.

I think it only works with the stock messaging app.
