No Lock Widget No Longer Works?...

Well, it's taken me a long time to reach my patience threshold, but now I'm there. I'm sincerely hoping one of you pros can help!

With GB, I used No Lock to, on demand, discontinue locking the screen. This meant that even if I had an established PIN, I could temporarily disable it. I didn't even have to do the "ring slide down thing." I found it tremendously convenient.

However, since I received the ics ota update back in August, No Lock no longer works. I've tried a number of other apps as well, but I still haven't been able to find a way to override the screen lock; I cannot even disable the slide ring with none selected for the security screen lock option.

I also have a nexus 7 running JB. No luck there either. Has this been something that's been made impossible since ics? I'm having a hard time believing I'm the only one out there who's looking for this.

Please, someone out there tell me I'm doing something incredibly obvious to make this harder than it should be!

The ICS OS changed how it handles the lock screen since GB. Just give the app developers time to catch up to the changes.

Yes, I had thought of that, but you know what? No one appears to be making such a request anywhere that I've seen. Can you suggest a good place? (Also, fwiw, I'm totally surprised that there hasn't been a big uproar from the user community for this capability! It was one of my most-used apps/widgets prior to the ICS upgrade.) cheers, john
