Hey all, first post here lol.

Anyways on my old droid I had my gmail account and my schools microsoft exchange outlook account on it. I figured my Razr could do the same but I cant seem to get it to connect. Anyone have any advice they can offer on how to make it work?

Much appreciated.

You should be able to setup your Exchange account as a "Corporate Sync" account. Go into Settings, then accounts, then Add and select "Corporate Sync" (that's what they consider to be an Exchange account).

Let me know if it doesn't work for you.

Nope that didnt work either. On my last droid I didnt have to "Corporate sync" the account, I just added it under the email, but to do that i had to manually do it. On the Razr tho their is only the POP and IMAP options and those wont work either.

Scratch that. I used the Corporate Sync but was having a slow moment, I forgot to put in the domain and server name lol on my last droid i didnt have to for some reason. Thanks for your help tho I really appreciate it.

The original Droid ran stock Android and they have Exchange built into that. The Razr runs Motorola's version of the email clients. That's why on your old phone you just set it up under Email.

That being said, if your school email account is truly an Exchange account, Corporate Sync is where you would need to set it up. You may need to contact the school to find out the correct settings to use (i.e. username, domain, server name, etc.) Your school might support being able to get email via POP or IMAP as well, but they would need to tell you what settings to use for that.

Corporate Sync works perfectly for me on my Razr with my work Exchange account.

On the RAZR go to "My Accounts", and hit add. Select "Corporate Sync". Make sure you have the right settigns. For example you may need to add "\" before your account name. Make sure you have the server right, including security settings (SLL.)
If you could do it in the stock OG's mail app, you *should* be able to do it on the RAZR as well.
Hope it helps.
