No new contacts!!!

My droid, running BB 0.1 froyo is not letting me add new contacts, whether with the add new contact or adding from the call log. Its not new because I noticed it was being weird when I had 2.1 BB and i could never find my girlfriends dad in my contacts, eveb though I added him. Same thing with her stepmom. What can I do and is anyone else having this problem?

tl;dr - can't add new contacts. Wtf...

Just as something to try, what happens if you had one via gmail.com ? Does it show up on your phone? It should sync automatically for you.

This isn't a long term solution but might be a short term fix for you.
