No notification sounds

I rooted my Razor Maxx I am still running android version 2.3.6 system version 6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US and could not get the Motorola email app to work properly. It kept giving me errors and wouldn't allow me to delete the previous accounts so I uninstalled the mail app. In doing so I lost notification sound and led light no vibrate when I receive incoming text messages. The only way I know I have a text message now is to click on the text icon. Under the sound setting notifications it say its going to play a sound but doesn't. Does anyone know where I can download a that Motorola app or know how to fix this problem?
