no ring sound in the dx after dialing

My dx recently started acting strange. After dialing a number there is no ringing sound in the dx. I don't recall doing anything that may have led to this behavior. But I'm no wizard on this dx by any means.

Suggestions most appreciated.

Took the DX to Verizon yesterday, they scratched their heads and ordered me a replacement phone.

Mine does this from time to time, but I just hang up and redail.
