No root directory in Windows Explorer

My wife has a droid X2 which I rooted that when plugged in to windows 7 pc explorer shows her card as MOT G
and root directory as MOT F. I now have a droid 2 which I rooted and I can only get the sd card as MOT G and
no root directory. I have the super user app so I believe it rooted correctly. Any ideas?

Make sure ur go to Settings > Applications > Development and have USB debugging checked. Then plug your phone into computer and pull down the notification thing and open USB connection and choose USB Mass Storage. Then you should be able to see everything that is on your SD Card. If you want to see what is on internal memory, that is when you need to get the SDK and learn how to use ADB commands.

Thanks for the response. I'll get started on the SDK, but just curious as to why my Droid 2 didn't show the directory when the x2 did?
