No service after flash!

I just installed this ROM on freshly rooted D2 Global. Install was smooth, ROM is blazing fast, but I have NO SERVICE??
Airplane mode is enabled by default! I uncheck the box and it dims out but but hangs on "Enabling wireless connections" until I back out. Then when I hit Wireless & Networks again it is re-checked!
Is the Global non-compatible?
Anybody???
