No way to activate My Verizon, Have Xoom.

Is there a way I can activate My Verizon? It wants to send me a temp password through a text message and texting is not supported on the Xoom. It seems that is the only way to do it to. Any suggestions?

Well, on the iPad there is an app that will text. It's called text now.

Except I've never got a confirmed text from it. But try and see if the Market has one, many iPad apps are in the Market too. Good luck.

The thing is, it sends it to the phone number assigned to my xoom and every text app I have gives me some completely different number.

Just call vzw and tell them u wanna activate it.

I work for Verizon customer care. I just read an article at work that says we will send you a temporary password via snail mail.
