Non-Rooted Droid not booting

I was opening a 3rd party texting app (Text+) when my phone froze and fully crashed. This is nothing new, as it has happened before. This time however, when I tried to start it again, it got to the "Dual Core" screen with the big M, and it just stopped. I gave it like 15 minutes. Nothing. So I did some poking around online and found how to start the "RSD protocol support". That freezes too... It just stays at "Starting RSD protocol support" Again, this phone is not rooted or tampered with in any way. This also means I don't have any frozen ROMs to back up with... At this point I really don't care if I have to completely reset my phone. I'd just like to be able to use it again.

If anybody has any idea of what happened, or how to fix it, advise would be greatly appreciated!
