Noob contact question

hi guys is there a way to get my contacts from my old phone on to my droid? i was thingking backup assistant but that is not compatable any ideas?

Gmail or storing the numbers on an sd card.

take your old phone and your new one to the verizon store and they should be able to transfer everything from there

edit: they should be able to transfer MOST of it. It seems hit or miss sometimes. Ive done it with phones where everything transferred fine, but when I transferred my contacts from my env touch to my droid, some contacts were missing

Thanks for the help guys i was able to import them though google via the csv file
