Noob needs help. Can't unlock, screen unresponsive.

So heres the deal. I installed Zeam and was using it on top of the vanilla launcher. My phone is rooted but i haven't taken advantage of it in any way. A little bit ago, i attempted to change the wallpaper and my phone froze, crashed, shut down and wouldn't turn back on. After i pulled the battery i started it back up again and i couldn't get past the lock screen (which i have disabled via app but still makes me unlock on startup). Also the screen and keys are completely unresponsive. In addition, even though the top bar says i have full wifi and 3g, the text above the time says "(No Service)". The clock is stuck at 6PM and says it's Thursday January 1st.

I'm guessing Zeam is competing with the vanilla launcher and neither one is getting focus. But i'm not sure about that theory.

I have a nandroid backup somewhere on there but it wasn't under the sd-ext / or the hard extension directory and if i found it i wouldn't know how to restore it. I'd rather not reset to factory but it is an option after first unrooting via usb in case i want to claim my warranty. I haven't had this phone for long so the loss from factory reset isn't very great.

I dun goofed and could use your help. Thanks.

See if you can boot into safe mode. Power off the phone. As you power up the phone hold the menu key down. Keep holding it down until the words SAFE MODE appear near the bottom. You'll have to do this for most of the boot sequence. If you can get that far you can uninstall zeam and then reboot the phone. Otherwise the only way to get back control of the phone will be to boot to the stock recovery and do a system wipe.

Thanks for the reply. I got it into safe mode but the screen is still unresponsive :/

Another question, when i factory reset it, will i have to re-register it with Verizon?
