Noob with Dr. X

Hello folks!

Just got my DX yesterday, first smartphone, been using a RAZR for the last 6 years. What a learning curve I have from the simple phone to this, but I'm really excited!

Does anyone have the phone number to Verizon to do the automated phone number porting? I'm coming from ATT to Verizon and want to keep my phone number.

Welcome! Glad to have you with us. I'm not sure how to advise on the porting. When I left AT&T the customer service rep at the VZW store did the porting. Stopping at a VZW store or Best Buy may be a good option.

agreed... i got my phone at best buy and they had my number ported in about 2 min. unfortunately they didnt have the software to transfer my contacts over,nothing a quick trip to VZW couldnt solve though
