We are all excited and want this phone, but if you step back and really look at it the only stand out things are the HD screen and ics.

Hardware wise its fairly lacking.

Compared to what? When it's released it will have the best CPU in current phones, what other "hardware" are you talking about? The GPU? It's overclocked to nearly twice the speed of the Razr's. First phone to use NFC in the US. A large 1850mAh battery.

What makes it a great phone besides the specs is that its a Nexus!

It is a developer friendly phone. If none of that is interesting to you then it may not be the right phone for you. It was a very fair question. Not every phone is the right fit.

lol the OG Droid wasn't all that hardware-wise after it came out and that phone has lasted me until the Nexus takes me for a ride.
