Not able to install apps

Hello all;

I recently started having a new issue with my phone. I am not able to install any apps or updates from the market. The issue started after I installed CyanogenMOD 7.0.0. It seems like the data connectivity just stops when an app starts to download. I've tried to do a fresh wipe and install bit the issue still re-occurs. I even tried to fix permissions from ROM Manager and that didn't help.

It seems like the issue started when I updated ClockworkMod Recovery to 3.0.0.8. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

I got the issue taken care of. I got a response from Google shown below. I tried everything they listed except for signing out and back into Google Talk. Once I did that I was able to download and install any app I want. I don't know why that worked but it did! Thanks for all of your help.

Hello,

Thanks for writing in. I understand you are having trouble downloading apps from Android Market. Here are some common issues and troubleshooting steps that should help you resolve your problem:

- Confirm that there is connectivity on your device (contact your mobile service provider if you aren't connected).
- Make sure you have enough space on your device
- If downloading a paid application, confirm that your credit card information is up to date by logging in your Google Checkout account at http://checkout.google.com

If you receive a "Download unsuccessful" message when attempting to download an app, please follow these steps:

- Clear your Market cache by visiting Settings > Applications > Market > Clear cache
- Restart your device then try downloading the app again.

If your application is stalled at "Starting download", please try the following troubleshooting steps:

- Make sure that your device is logged into Google Talk by following these steps:

1. Go to your device’s app launcher, and press the Talk app
2. If you’re already logged into Talk, press Menu, and then touch Sign out
3. Launch Talk again to sign in

- Wait 10 minutes and try your download again.

If unsuccessful after attempting these steps, please don't hesitate to let us know! Please note that we do not support rooted devices at this time.

Regards,

Justin
