Not able to SMS contacts

All of a sudden I'm not able to text most all of my contacts. I go to "Messages" then start typing a contact and that contact doesn't get recognized. Please help

If their phone number isn't saved as "mobile" it won't show up in the messing app.

If it was working and now suddenly isn't (ie: the contacts are indeed saved as "mobile" like they need to be), might just want to try a reboot. If that doesn't help try a quick export/import of your contacts.
(contacts > menu > import/export > export to SD card..... then reverse the process)
