Note 2 default browser prompt won't go away

Hello,

Using a Note 2 and I'm using Nova launcher. Everytime I use a bookmark widget and click on the thumbnail/list it always prompts me to choose a default browser, even though I've selected Chrome about a million times. I've read several threads on this and nothing seems to work. It's like the phone isn't remembering what I'm selecting to use for the default permanently. Need help as the widget is pointless if I've got to click three screens each time I select a link for the browser to go to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I moved it to Note 2 help area.. But I realize might not be phone related.. I tested it with Nova.. It would take a few times but sure enough if I clicked enough the pop up would come up asking for default action.. I'm wondering if it's a Nova issue.. Might be good to contact developer.. In meantime I'm going to do a little digging...
