Note 3 Reopens previously read emails as unread POP3

My Note 3 reopens previously read emails as unread (blue). I have 3 accounts, 1 POP3 and 2 server based email accounts, only the POP3 fails. I have used this same setup in my last 3 phones, Samsung Charge, MAXX and now a Note 3, only the N3 has this issue. I have verified that reopened emails do not exist on my Comcast server. This usually occurs multiple times a day sometimes with new, valid unopened emails, most of the time there are no new emails. They are usually about a week old.

Hmm sorry I'm of no help. .. but hopefully someone can chime in..Also have you tried to clear account and set up new again

I think that it is a Samsung issue. I am not sure how many use POP email accounts. I like it on my laptop because I can do stuff off the internet.

Maybe you might want to consider running your POP acct thru Gmail ..
