Note 9 and Pioneer AVH601EX Bluetooth issue

Alright so I just installed a new pioneer headunit in my truck. Connected to my Note 9 via BT. No matter what source I am on on the radio ANY thing I touch on my phone automatically switches the radio to BT and Google Play Music starts playing.... It is driving me NUTs...…. What am I missing?

As a follow up.... There was a firmware update available for the Pioneer in dash unit and that solved the issue.... I was beating my head on the wall over that one!!!!

Glad you figured it out. I honestly had no idea what to suggest. But a firmware update does make sense
