Note Everything Pro & Permissions

I was just about to buy the Pro version of Note Everything and noticed that for permissions is says:
"System Tools: Prevent phone from sleeping"

Won't this put a tremendous drain on the battery? Does this mean the phone will no longer sleep after 1 minute when I have it set to sleep?

Doesn't this just mean while you have the app open your phone won't sleep so you won't' have to push the power button to wake it up? Does Note Everything auto-save? I wonder if this permission is for app that only saves when you go out of the note.

I just did a quick google on it, battery did not seem to be a concern.

For $4.99 I just bought it, I will let you know. I liked the fact that with the Pro, you can set audible reminders.
