Notification LED for Droid

Hi.

I just went through the manual for the Incredible.
In it it has a legend that spells out the various functions of the LED notification light.
The Droid manual has no such listing.

Anybody know what all the colored notification are on the Droid?
Or are there only a few?

Thanks
B

Well on a stock phone, you don't have the choice to change your notification colors (unless it's for third party apps, there is a modified stock messenger app, but not sure if it works on non rooted phones). If you root your phone, Cyanogenmod offers you the ability to change your LEDs between Blue, Light Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Orange, Red.

There are 5 or 6 available colors and they can be changed for different applications but like the other post said you need a third party app to do it. You can use handcent for sms and gmail notifier for gmail. There is also an app called missed call that will allow you to change the led colors

I'm not looking to control the colors necessarily.
Just wondering what the stock color codes are, if any, relative to various notifications.

Not really. Stock everything is green but other colors are available depending on what suits your preferences.

It is a RGB system; there are over 16 million colors available.

To answer your question:
Green = eMail, Text, Voice, etc
Red = Low Battery/Error

Thats not really true. Certain notifications give different colors. I don't know a lot of them off the top of my head, but I know that when I get a facebook notification, or a notification from the personal assistant app, the led is blue. The led goes red when your battery is going to die (and possibly for other things). Those are just the ones I can think of right now.

Yes those are the three main colors. The blue is for mms, green is for gmail, and red is for the low battery warning. Those are the only colors that are set on default for those apps.
