Notification Light

Hello it seems that my notification light does not turn on everythime i get a new notification such as a sms. It will show up in the bar however just no light. Therefore i have to unlock the screen everytime to check for messages. It is important to note that i have handcent sms as main messaging and I checked test notification and no light came up. the only time it works is at random times.

Missed Call app from the market. Works great and you can customize the LED and ringtone for each type of notification.

Yes i realize that but it would be nice if the native apps work i would like to figure taht out first....I went to get some food and it seems that the light works in the dock
