Notification problem

I have a droid. This is extremely annoying. I deleted a text but it still appears in the notifications. When I press it, it takes me to a blank text screen. When I press clear it goes away... untill I press messaging and it re-appears again in the notifications. Basically, I can't get it to go away for good and it keeps appearing in notifications. What an annoying problem this is.

reboot the phone. you aren't using two messaging apps, are you? like the stock one and maybe one like Handcent?

Nope just the regular messaging app. I'll try battery pull and reboot.

DID u APP2SD ? if so search how to put them back in to phone..;.

Can you please tell me if you were able to get this fixed because I am having the same exact problem with my phone and that darn message

a battery pull should do the trick... make sure you leave the battery out for at least 30 seconds
