Notification Reminder App

Is there an application to remind me of a text message? I remember that on past phones you could set it to vibrate again after two minutes or so however in the stock messaging app there isn't this function. I do believe this option is in Handcent Sms however i do not like the iphone-esque look of the app. So my question is, is there an app to enable this function because for some reason my notification window will clear itself of sms notifications which results in me missing texts.

I don't know of an app like that, but LauncherPro and Go Launcher will put a number of unread SMS, miss calls and unread email over those icons for you. There may be an app, but I'm not aware of it.

i think handcent you can have reminders

Handcent does in fact do it. You can also change the vibrate pattern for reminders.
