Does anyone know what the icon that looks like a target with a signal meter next to it is? It is to the left of my Bluetooth icon. I have attached a picture. Thanks!

The target is e911, can't be turned off in settings. The symbol to its right is location service, which can be turned off but doesn't use any battery and helps weather services and such know your location.

I don't have an S3, but it looks like the gps is on. Or something with location service

Tapped from a Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS

Thanks. I figured it had something to do with location settings. Why doesn't everyone's have this? A few of my friends have this phone and its not on theirs.
